Re: Hey daddyo 4

Hey Chris. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. We replaced the ign. switch and all was well till about 2 wks ago when my son calls and says his Brav is making a strange noise while he driving-sometimes- so the other day he goes to leave the house and the starter won't disengage when the engine starts and he releases the key.So I tear into it to replace the switch again and I find some wires spliced into the wires to the ign. switch so I trace them back to an aftermarket remote starter device that is in the well behind the kick panel.I pull it out and there is WATER dripping out of it. Needless to say it and all its' wiring is in a pile in my garage

Wow, I'm glad it didn't get out of hand. With so many wires on today's cars, the old splice & tape jobs just don't get it anymore. Hope your problems are laying in that pile.
