Ferrari 599 Barchetta - 60 Red Years
This is Revell's 599GTB converted to a barchetta. I cut the top off then molded in engine covers from the Porsche CGT as headrests. The body paint is Tamiya Black Metallic ans TS13 clear. Interior is Acryl Vermin Brown, Sloth Brown and PollyScale Engine Black.
The rims are from Fujimi's 599. The chrome Pininfarina, Ferrari and Cavallino emblems are Crazy Modeler...the yellow badges are MSM's peel and stick. I built it curbside without too much trouble....a few boo boo's here an there and the hood is badly warped.

WOW!
Extremely shiny paintjob and beautiful conversion job. Excellently done! Great idea to use CGT parts to make a barchetta  I just don't really like those pentastar wheels... Cheers

I love it! The rear trunk is huuuuuuuuge: I like it, it have some "american appeal", in fact the berlinetta, in person, seems very fat, an F40 behind seems a model in scale, well done.
