Battery light?
Hi there thanks for the advice. I went and had the battery checkd and sure enough it was no good. I installed it but the battery light comes on. Actually it comes on for a few minutes than goes off for a few than comes back. If it were the altinator wouldnt the battery drain rather quickly? Or wouldnt the altinator light come on? I was told at the autoparts store that if it were the cable I would smaell burning platic. Is that true?
I appriciate your help |

Re: Battery light?
You want to clean all the cables, and battery terminal connections.
You don't need to be smelling a burning smell for them to be bad. It would be worthwhile to have the alternator load tested to see if it is weak.
