99 Intrigue tracion control, abs & airbag light flash. Blower motor cuts in and out.
It started this morning with a loud squeal (3 times) under the dash. I know that the blower motor is on it's last leg. I was curious to see if the blower motor or resistor could cause an electrical short. A gentleman @ Autozone said that the blower motor maybe overheating thus causing the other lights to flash. He said that there is a breaker that will reset itself. I tried driving home without the blower on, the lights still flashed. Does anybody have an idea as to what's going on?

Are there any other lights on, like the "Service Engine" light? If yes, you may have a couple of things going on.

FWIW, My 2001's alternator was overcharging, and when it would spike to 17.7v, the whole dash would light up like it reset. Or like you had JUST stuck your key in to start it....
I'd leave your voltmeter on your battery and drive around watching what its doing tho.... Quote:

have you had any codes, if not make sure that when you scan it the scanner machine is tech II capable, post your codes and we'll help you, we need more detailed info.

3hrs Labor plus alternator (bought at Autozone) |
