Cool idles bad with a/c on

94 eclipse idles great until the a/c is turned on then it dies.

Sounds like the A/C is putting too much of a drain on the system, so have the battery and alternator tested to rule those out. Autozone does it for free.

my friend from uti said that my 92 talon turbo has a bad vacuum leak,thats why the rpms are jumping and your a/c cuts the car off when stopped i assume is also whats happening on your car,well that is what mine does.so i wounder if its a crack or hole somewhere in the intake manifold or gasket which keeps it from getting enough air.
