my convertible top button wont work!!?

Hmm so in the scortching heat today i went to push my convertible top button and none of my windows roll down or my top after i push and hold it..

I dont even hear the motors trying to work...

any ideas anyone!?!

mine does that sometimes. It's odd but did you try putting it in reverse and pressing the brake? It may be completely unrelated but when I do that for some reason my top button works then. I think there must be a lockout on one part of it. I'm not sure which though. Just something I noticed. If it's on manual it will still make the windows go down. But you have to put them up by yourself....

So first check that it's on automatic in the trunk... Then put all your windows and up and hit the button. If they roll down then the button works. If they don't you have another problem.

well i flipped it from auto to manual then to auto,

held the brake and now it works again!

Sometimes you have to let your foot off the brake and then get back on it before the top will kick on. Also, make sure you don't try to move the top until a couple seconds after you come to a complete stop.
