Transmission shift solenoid

About a year ago I took my 00 in and had it scanned for the transmission code that points to the shift solenoid issue. Sure enough it was there. GM dealer was pretty good at a price to replace it. I went ahead and the car shifted like glass after that. Very happy. Lately it seems to be showing signs of coming back. Not as servere. Maybe it is just me and a bit edgy about it coming back. I have a pretty good scanner from Autoenginuity. I ran a scan and didn't come up with anything. Not sure if it can find tranny codes.

Are there updated solenoids for this issue? I asked about this at the dealer and they just looked at me. I think there is a newer one for model years ahead but it isn't for my 00.
