driver window
my window on the driver side well go up 3/4 of the way end stop when it stops it make's a grinding sound it well go up fine with help if anyone can help me with it that would great

Since no one else is responding, my initial guess would be a failing sector gear in the regulator mechanism.

If it's any consolation, the manual windows on my daughter's '96 are stripped as well. I added some teeth back to the regulator sector with a TIG and a file, but now other areas are failing. I'd get a different one, but there aren't many Lumis/Montes in area wrecking yards with manual windows. Those that are around seem to have door damage.
