cand find radiator drain valve on 99' !!!!!???????

I know this sounds stupid but i just cant find the radiator drain valve. I'v looked everywhere under the radiator but still cant find it! Please help!!

Humm.. it is not directly on the bottom of the radiator, it is on the bottom driverside corner, but not directly on the bottom. About an inch or two above the bottom is a drain petcock. Using pliers, pull out as you turn counterclockwise (1/4 turn is all that is required). There is a little drain hole on the very bottom of the radiator along the drivers side, look up from there, inside side of the radiator, not outside. I'm not sure what else to say, anyone else?

If you take the intake air tube and air cleaner out, you can see the drain plug from above...otherwise, you have to climb underneath and find as mhall02 mentioned....hope this helps...Glen

Ok I found it but its one of those ones where you can only turn it clockwise not counterclockwise. I have no idea why they wouldn't want you to open it.

Hmm...on my 2003 it turns normally (CCW to open). I was able to turn it by hand from underneath.....maybe they changed it since your year?

it's got one of those screw things where its sloped on the edge so it will only turn clockwise.

That's much different than what I have - are you sure that is the drain? I've never heard of them using "one-way" type fittings. Those are used for tamper-resistance.

There is another poster named "GregA" may be of more help. He has a few different pictures from his previous Venture work, so perhaps he has something to share...sorry I can't help more...Glen

I'm pretty sure its the drain. I'ts on the drivers side on the inside of the radiator about an inch above the bottom and it sticks out about a half inch with the one way screw thing in it.
