2003 Windstar oil pressure switch

Hi I had a oil leak at the oil pressure switch and bought the replacement switch at Ford and it is made different. Went back to the Ford place and this is the only one they show for the windstar. I went ahead and installed it and the electrical connection is different. Modified it and its plugged in but the oil light is staying on now. Has anyone else ran into this problem? Thanks
