stargard alarm 00 Breeze

Hello everyone

This morning I was working on my car. My roommates sitting in the drivers seat, looking at the stargard security key module.
He pulls out the security key and says, "so the car won't start without this?" I tell him "its not supposed to, no", and then he said "wouldn't a penny do the trick?", at this point I told him, "I don't know, I've never not had the key so why would i try to go around it? And I doubt it would as it wouldn't fill the slots properly...I really don't think it'd be that simple to get around."

About 30 seconds later, he says "Dude, I'm sorry, I think I just killed your car."
Power to the ignition was gone, i put the key back in, and still nothing. I had power to the vents, windows, lights, and simple things like that.
We called the dodge dealer that installed the system, gave them the VIN number, reg info, and what not, and the guy told him, that it would be easier to just trace the wires up and completely remove the alarm, by re splicing a wire(yellow ignition wire, I guess. It was the only wire that had been cut and spliced to the security relay). So we do this, and I've still got nothing. Will someone please help?

Please tell me he didn't fry the ECU, or something.
I've checked all the fuses, especially the ignition fuses, and they're not blown.
