96 tc jerkin'
Hi everyone. i just got a 97 TC 100k and whenewer i drive 35 - 55 mph and press gas pedal down, car start jerkin' ? Please help!!

Is the "check engine light" on?
Yes: Post the codes No: All the maintenance items should be replaced when you get a car in unknown condition. Filters, Plugs & Wires, Oil, Trans Fluid, etc.

Torque converter shudder is a common problem on AODE/4R70W transmissions. Change the fluid as soon as you can and I would bet it goes away. Some people add a very small amount of friction modifier to the fluid and say it helps.
I don't add it but have heard it from more then a few people. Change the fluid regularly and your transmission will last a long time. I change my fluid every 2 years and my original 1995 4R70W is still shifting good at 195,6XX miles.
