upgrading 94' v-6 camaro

Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to give me some advice on redoing my car. I bought the car cheap,( 180,000 miles, runs great) and am curious on how hard it would be for me to put a LT1 engine in it. I found 1 for $1500 with low miles, would the engine work with my current transmision(5 speed stick), would I be able to use the same wire harness, computer, rear end, etc... Maybe someone could point me to a site that has a lot of the info I need? After reading your posts I know im in the right place.
Thx

Im sure you could use the 5speed but don't, it wasn't designed to back up an LT1. Get a T-56 (6 speed) or 4L60E (4speed auto) out of another F-body. You will need the computer and wiring harness for a '94 LT1 also, one that goes with whichever tranny you deciede on. The drive shaft and rear end can be used out of your car. Ask around on www.Camaroz28.com for more info.
