Re: d16y8 help!!!!

I think all D series trans/motors will bolt up to each other. As for a new motor, B16, B18, B20, NA, turbo, your call. research, find out what you want and what is realistic, then do it.

Re: d16y8 help!!!!

is there anything wrong with your existing engine? why do you want to change it?
If nothing's wrong with it, you should get a better ECU (P28, which is the ecu from a '92-'95 Si and EX) and get a conversion harness to change over to OBD1.

Re: d16y8 help!!!!

I have a newly rebuilt D16Y8 with about 7000 miles on it and only want 700 dollars for I've put 2K into the engine....I just bought a H22A to put in mine so don't need the D16Y8 anymore... Just hit me up if you need to know anymore about the engine....
