Is it just me...or do alot of people judge eachother pretty harshly on this website, im always cruisin the site, and I always see people bashing eachother..I know you're always going to get the guy with his own opinion, but I find its pretty bad on here, anyone else agree with me?

I don't see anyone bashing anyone- you've just hit the bong too hard

AF is a friendly automotive community- most of any sort of bashing is most likely to be a Kicker/Moss style playful flaming

Theres a lot of joking and sarcasim passed between members who know each other, I guess you could interprut that the wrong way on a 1st impression.

But start a Hello thread, or post in the indrocutions forum under AF in general, and you will soon see how friendly we really are. Especialy when we see a new face.


In the Car forums however, I think its pretty much always kept above bourd, and on a friendly basis. There are always people who think they can insult others, but we deal with as soon as we find them.

yeah thats what i was talking about, in the auto forums, not in here, but i decided i would post it in here since it really doesnt have to do with cars...i was just noticing...not even complaining, and by the way, ive been part of this board for quite a while, i just dont post much. I mostly just read.

I think most of teh mindless shit goes on in the Japanese and US make forums Peugeot, FIAT, Ctiroen, Alfa Romoeo, Renault and SEAT forums when posted in (not a lot, but yeah) are always friendly, on-topic and a great place to discuss the viechles

I know what you mean, Blowoff. There are a few parts of this forum (that will go unnamed) that I almost never go to, even though I love the car that is represented by that part of the forum. I go there ever now and then hoping things have changed, but all I see are threads like "(Insert Car name here) SUCKS!!!" or "About the (insert car name)" and you go in expecting information or real opinions. Of course, you don't get that. You get "You suck and so does everything about said car."

BUT (and that is a huge but), there are so many parts of this forum that redeem it. I will name my two favorite sections: Completely Off-topic (for the most part), Car Modelling. Everyone in both places really knows their stuff and can support it well.

So in closing, most parts of this forum are great, and while there is some bashing, most of it is just playful. I enjoy it here and that's why I've been a member for so long.
