Power difference between 3.0 and 3.2?
My dad is currently looking for a new car and today me and him went to test drive an '04 honda accord with the 3.0 then we test drove an '04 TL with the 3.2..my question is about how the two cars drive because my dad said the accord seemed to have better acceleration than the TL which seems odd since the TL had the larger and assumingly more powerful engine..so is this the way it is with these cars or could it have just been the specific one we were driving?

Re: Power difference between 3.0 and 3.2?
I wouldn't doubt it. The new TLs are very nice, I have driven the TL you are talking about. My friend traded the 2000 3.2TL for a 2005TL and he said that the 2000 felt faster. Also, from what I understand the new V6 accords are pretty quick. I would still go with the TL if it was in my means though.

Re: Power difference between 3.0 and 3.2?
It all amounts to the HP:Weight ratio. Higher HP but heavier car is tantamount to lower HP but lighter car. I have a 2K 3.2 TL and it's peppy enough for me. Note also that some TLs have transverse VTEC engines like mine and other have straight. Transverse seemed to be a bit peppier than the straight.
