i dunno i got a d16z6 without an ecu or tranny for.......FREE! so i dont think its a good deal, but yeah with those bolt ons, it would be worth it for you.

That doesnt sound like a good deal at all to me.... I would recommend using our tranny on that engine. The gear ratio on the 5th gen tranny is not set up the same as ours (ours has better gear ratios for acceleration). That LS tranny is probably worth a good $200 if it is in good working condition. That would be $800 for the engine without the trade. I would talk him down to 500 or 450.... Without the tranny trade I would be willing to pay $700 for that motor with the accesories included.

i think that is a good deal. eveybody wants everything for free now. i wouldnt pass it up. it might be a long time before another deal comes a long. and the motor only has 60,000 on it.

I think that with those bolt ons, it's worth it. I'm sure you could find a better deal out there if you really researched it, but I'd go for it if it's in good shape. I bought my D16Y8 for $900. I could've paid less for a higher mileage one, but the on I have has less than 8000 miles on it. :finger:

use a 4th gen Si tranny or a DX tranny if you just really cant find an Si trans. the 5th gens use a hydraulic clutch which is a pain in the ass to switch our cars over to hydro.
