System Too Lean

Hey guys, my check engine light has been on for a little while, i finally put $60 down to buy a scanner and see whats up. the light had been on earlier for the throttle position sensor, but that was taken care of. this time the code is for "System too lean". I just recently installed a cold air intake, i am assuming that the inscreased air flow could be the cause, any tips on how i can fix it to balance the system?

Dont know if it helps, but here is the freeze data from the scanner:

Re: System Too Lean

Try resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery for 15 min/touching the leads together/clearing it with your scanner, whatever the appropriate method is. Failing that try cleaning your MAF.

Re: System Too Lean

make sure your clamping is correct on the piping because of the fuel trims .the computer is thinking that there is a intake leak .make sure there good and tight .then clear the light with the scanner in the Key on Engine off position and try to let it idle on it's own for a while and drive the car with small throttle increases or if your scanner can display live data monitor it and see if the fuel trims change rapidly with the throttle response .and check to see if you tightened the MAF correctly with no gaps and fully seated
