Best engine swap for a 94 accord Lx ?

I just bought a 94 Honda Accord Lx, and it doesnt have a vtec or a 5 speed. I was interested in an engine swap...but i dont know where to get the engine or what engine to get!

Can someone PLEASE help me?

Well you could potentially be talking about two differant things.

1. A motor swap (replaces your motor/current tranny to same like)

2. A tranny swap (changes auto-manual or vice-versa if you so wish)

If you plan from going from auto to manual expect to spend another $1000 in parts and labor on top of the price of the swap.

There really is no best, but since its a heavier car go with nothing smaller then the H22a motor. Again, I dont know your budget but there could be some other options (like the V6 swap!) but again, if its not within your budget its not going to help you much will it? Good luck! :smoka:
