I need a 96-00 3.3 Transmission

Mine is really starting to go........it throws all kind of transmission codes and the thing will downshift whenever it wants.

Anyone know someone or know of a place that sells the 3.3 transmission?

What kinds of codes? This could be just a wiring problem, the TCM needing update, or a clogged filter.

i pulled about 10 codes......from the speed sensor to the gas light going up and down.

Its just crazy!!!! i'll post them when i find where i put them

I wonder if you have an electrical problem with so many codes coming up. This is essential for this transmission to operate right.

I have TONS of problems........man i think it might be time to just tow this thing to the dealer and get something new...

where is the Alternator fuse?

You should check the ground stap on the tranny , if it is broke all kinds of stuff happens . I heard of pepole replacing the tranny when its only the ground stap thats broke.

Try looking on EBay for a trans. They run about $800 delivered, brand new rebuild.

Get one from Jasper and they do updates on that transmission.They weld the end of the spider gear pins,Chrysler does have problems with them breaking and does damage to the case.They also have a better warranty,you can take it to any Jasper dealer for warranty work if there are any problems.The other places,you have to take a certain place for warranty work and the warranty sucks.The worst part is that unnessary back mount thanks to a really dumb Chrysler engineer that needs to be shot.

check the wiring connectors maybe loose or corroded and yes sometimes ground strpsbreak off and could cause problems.
