Tall vs. Short?

Other than valve clearance.....whats the difference in using tall valve covers and short ones? I will be installing some nice custom tall covers on a 350 that will go into a 74 Nova.

Thanks for any help!

Your biggest issue will be some accessory brackets (the compressor bracket which mounts to the intake) and the placement of the EGR valve - aside from those, you can use tall covers.

If you can use either, it can come down to a matter of personal taste. I, myself like the looks of the tall valve covers.
