95 LeSabre oil leak

My 95 LeSabre leaks oil near and above the oil filter. It's not from the oil pan and it's not from the gasket of the part where the oil filter attachs to. It's between the part where this one attach to and the engine block. I don't know what's under there. I tightened the screws of both parts but the leak didn't change at all.

Any ideas?

Re: 95 LeSabre oil leak

There is a gasket between the oil filter adapter and the block. If I remember correctly, 2 bolts hold the adapter to the block. That small gasket must be your problem, if you know that is the area of the leak.
