Unhappy hey guys, i need help big time

this happened once before. my car won't start, in my attempt to start, the engine tries to ignite, but the engine does not turn over and start. last time i got it fixed, they said it was the ignition coil and it worked after they fixed it. but today i'm experiencing the same exact problem.
I had a thought that maybe it was my transmission fluid? how often are u supposed to change that fluid?
When i checked it, it was almost gone. I'm thinking that, that may be it, but not sure. What do u guys think?

well get some transmission fluid since you need it anyways. And if that doesn't fix it, maybe there's something that's killing your coil.

i had my transmission fluid changed a year ago, and i'm sure the mechanic used some aftermarket kind to refill it. I'm gonna go to Honda tomorrow and get the OEM trans fluid.
Is it ok to mix the two? And how do u add the fluid in? I've never done it before.

there are 2 plugs, one on top and one on the bottom. take the top one off and full it up.

oh and i doubt the reason why your cars not starting it because of the tranny. plz explain your car not starting better. does the car even crank ? does it crank but you dont hear any combusting happening only the starter ? does it crank and combusting but not just turning over ?

thanks for the quick replies.
When I start my car, it cranks and cranks but the engine doesn't turn over. I'm not sure what you mean by combustion though.
And when I stop cranking it, it makes a choking noise and I feel the vibration in the car. What do u think it is?

check to see if theres spark. pull the spark plug out and put it on the spark plug wire, then ground it. if theres spark then its all good but if there weak spark or no spark then maybe its your idnition coil again. if theres spark then something else is wrong

Ummmm, why would transmission fluid not make your car start?

Coils/distributors going out sooner then they should is a good sign to ditch the car cause the cars probably gonna go sooner then it should.

As far as the fluid goes... even if you drain it, and let it drain for weeks you are only getting rid of about 40-50% of the fluid in the transmission. In order to get rid of it all you need to have it "running" - which you can not do as even a casual mechanic. Take it to like a Jiffylube or something, they can hook it upto a machine that cleans out like 90-100% of the fluid
