Tranny switch.

I have a 97 2.4L Z24, it's got a 4-speed Auto, and I've got a turbotube muffler on it. I was wondering could I switch out the tranny and drivetrain in it for a 5-speed Manual from any Cavy? Or do the new tranny and drivetrain have to come specifically from a 2.4L?

Re: Tranny switch.

Then year specfic due to the different tranny's used. Getrag or Isuzu... Tranny mounts are also specific for the tranny's. You have to weld them to the frame and cut the auto's out.
