Something doesnt "Sound" right
Someone please help me out here. Just bought new Alpine 4 1/2 speakers for the rear doors. Left the stock crap in the front. My Kenwood unit has a function that allows you to use 2 zone or not. When its on only the front speakers work. When off all speaker work. My problem is this....when i have all the speakers on including my new ones they dont sound as loud or have as much bass as when i only have the front ones on? What the hell is going on here guys?

I'd suggest you lay off your friends at AF and start leaning on the suppliers of the brand new Alpine speakers. If that's the only thing that has changed, I'd suspect a problem or impedance incompatibility there. I guess the "stock junk" at least worked, eh?
