rear power port

How do I make the rear power port on a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country hot all of the time. Currently it is only hot when the car is running and that turns off the kids DVD player when I stop to get gas.

The manual says it can be done but doesn't say how.

Thanks

Re: rear power port

Check your dealership. I recall reading a thread a few months back where someone installed an optional relay to make the plug hot at all times.
Welcome to the forum.

Re: rear power port

On the 2001 T & C, its just a fuse changed from one location to another. I'll look tonight and see if I can find the designator symbol.

I would suspect it is the same on the 2004.

Re: rear power port

Don't have to wait till I get home. I posted this a few years ago on a Dodge forum and a nice man gave me the answer, so it is from him.

"In the underhood fuse box you will see on the inside of the lid I believe a picture of a battery and a key. It corresponds to a large fuse on the fuse box. All you have to do is move the fuse over one position and that is all."

Thank you, brandocone (Dodge forum)
