95 concord engine start trouble

ok heres whats going on i have a 95 concord and i dont know what could be wrong with it. ok so i go to start it up and it wants to turn over but doesnt and i try it like 3 or 4 times and the 3rd or 4th time it starts up what would be the problem? i just changed the feul filter thinking that that was the problem but it isnt. my buddy thought it might be the spark plugs or fuel regulator but i dont can anyone help me? somebody else told me it could be the injectors but idk there are so many things it could be would anyone be able to tell me?
