flex pipe leak need an easy fix

Well I have this awful sound coming from my flex pipe, 1 year ago i went to midas and they gave me a new one which just recently broke... The flex pipe leaks terribly the sound is disgusting literally...

anyways this time around i am loooking for a really easy cheap and effective fix, Midas charged about 500 dollars, competitors charge about 350 for a new flex pipe with install..

and ofcourse no aftermarket companies make exhausts that I can find for the 2.4 L. spyder...

I have heard simply wrapping sheet metal around it, then sealing it with metal clamps and strong heat resistant sealer does the job...

Does that actually work?!?

Re: flex pipe leak need an easy fix

Just take it to a reputable muffler shop and get them to rig you up something.
