i have a 1984 fiero and coolant is leaking form a plate covering a coolant passage on the block (timeing plate?). i have tried puting permatex and gaskets on it but coolant still leaks. If anyone has answer to this problem please reply. Thanks

hehe, stop using goop. Thats a given no matter what car you're talking. Could be a warped mating surface, could be corrosion has marred the mating surface, but either way, you need to take it apart
