Couple of Ferraris

Ok, I haven't written here in a long time so now it's the time. Lately I've been very active collecting Ferraris. The CMC's 250 GTB SWB was my birthday present and I must say that it's the most beautiful model I own. Then a week ago I bought the HotWheels Elite 599 GTB Fiorano because I wanted to see how different the Elite series is compared to the ordinary HotWheels and just yesturday I bought the Superamerica because that's one of my favourite ferraris because of the folding glass top. So Ferraris are my new collection and I will buy the F430 Challenge in near future.

But here are the pics:

250 GT Berlinetta Passo Corto 1961

Superamerica

So, here they are. What do you think of them? I might put some pics of just the Superamerica because of its special roof and just because it's stunning!

Re: Couple of Ferraris

so what is the difference between the elites and the normal ones? From pics it seems just a slight more detailed but not as close as autoarts models, i dont see why they cost so much more than the original ones.

but anyways, those are nice models! the paint looks stunning

Re: Couple of Ferraris

Basically the finish and the details are much better. The original HW cars had a problems with the parts sitting together (at least I have experienced that). Of course they are made in the same body as the original ones but they have been more careful with the parts, the details and the finish so the models are nearly AUTOart level. They also feature nice special details; suitcases in the trunk!

If you are big into Ferraris and you want the models to be a bit better, these are the best you can get for your money because as we well know AUTOart don't do Ferraris. I recommend these models, they have done a huge job in HotWheels getting these models in the higher standards. I love them!
