89 s-10 no power
I was changing out my battery in my truck and accidentally sparked the wrench on the a/c compressor, now the truck wont start. I has no lights electronics, nothing I cant find any sign of electricity in it anywhere. I checked out the fuses and didnt see any that looked burned out and I did a continuity check on the fuse link that comes off the altenator. I am completely out of idea I dont even get power if I hook it up to another car. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Re: 89 s-10 no power
You may have popped a fuse link in the power feed from battery to fuse block.
With a 2.5 or 4.3 engine check at the rear aof alternator for 2 fuse links. with a 2.8 engine the power feed wire and fuse link is down on the starter solenoid. Your local parts place shoud have fuse link wire that can wire in if a fuse link is bad. Good luck MT.
