Re: Want Feed-back on Hercules Tires

I don't own these tires but looked at Hercules for my minivan. A local tire company that has been around for a few decades sells these and sells quite a few. I've seen them on minvans and sedans here in York, PA. I believe they are made by Cooper. Good looking tire. I wouldn't have a second thought about putting these tires on my Intrigue.

I think the OEM speed rating for the Intrigue is H.

Ask if you can have a "3 day test drive" on the tires? I think you will be happy with the tires. Any tire is better then the OEm tires.

Thank you for your feed-back. I would also like to know the "wear mile ratings" meaning how many miles of wear can I expect to get with these tires.

Re: Want Feed-back on Hercules Tires

NOw that I think about it, I think the OEM are T rated tires (my minivan are H-rated). The Hercules Ultra (T rated) is rated at 620 and the H rated is 420. My guess is at least 60k miles. The tires in this size tend to have long life. Smooth ride, good in the rain but terrible in the snow. I put Sigma Regents on my Intrigue at 70,000 miles. I now have 141,000 and they passed inspection in February. Problably need to change them before winter.

Once again thank you for thr info. I will buy these tires I hope I will get 60K miles out of them. I can buy a set of 225-60-16 for $300 Canadian Installed plus taxes vs $672 plus taxes for Michillen MX4 tires.

Re: Want Feed-back on Hercules Tires

I think you will be happy with the tires. Talk to your installer. I bet he/she is willing to give you a 2 or 3 day test drive with the tires.
