And some more work on the chassis, nothing much to say other then the putting the rear socks/springs in was sort of a pain

Re: Aoshima's Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

Started work on the engine

After some Alclad

and some work

and the engine compartment tub

and the brake's, first did a coat of Alclad

and did a coat of Model Master metalizer Burnt Medal , and the calipers in MM Metalizer Gun Metal

Started work on the body, after some primer

and skipping ahead, the first coat of the stage one for the color coat , also this serves as a mock up shot

Yummy yummy yummy!!! Mine should be here any day now. In the mock up photos, is that exactly how the front wheels sit? It looks like it is sitting slightly too high you know?

This looks great!
I love the color and love the car.
I will be following this for sure and want to hear your opinions with the pros and cons of this kit.

Keep it up!

Re: Aoshima's Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

Making a bit of progress, let the paint sit for a days, then started to get the clear coat on it, seems the only pics I took off the camera(then formated) were the mock up ,so here is a mock and clear shot in one , will get to my fuck up in a little bit

and work on the interior

o here is the fuck up, as you can see, I painted the top part of the doors black, well, they should be body color, in my hast to get the doors masked to do the black trim, I just completely over looked that part, so , was trying to see if I could remove the black, yeah, of course it wasnt going to work, and now the kick in nads, believe it or not, the body took an entire 2oz bottle of paint, so I now have buy another 1oz bottle of paint to fix my mistake, even then, a 1oz bottle of paint is more then I am going to need .

and the rest of the black paint on the engine cover and tail

Headlights done and in place, as the lower grills , and taillights and rear grills
