1998 - Thermostat location

Newbie with a stupid question.

I am trying to change the thermostat and cannot find its location in the engine compartment. There is a photo of the thermostat housing unit in the owners manual, but I am unable to find it in the engine itself.

Searched the net, cannot find an engine map either.

Could someone help?

Thank you,
Joe

Re: 1998 - Thermostat location

Welcome to AF.

Just follow the upper radiator to the end towards the throttle body (TB). Located to the left of the TB at the lower intake manifold. See tech procedure at the link below.

Re: 1998 - Thermostat location

Thank you very much.

That was exactly what I was looking for.

I confess to being a novice at auto repair, but this will be my first stop from now on.
