WIP Mercedes SLK

Hi guys!

As I have seen on LauBak's homepage his rebuilds of diecasts, I thought of building a quicky myself. There are a couple cars are not avaliable as a plastic kit but available in diecast. So I wanted to see it myself. Here is the new Mercedes SLK 350 1:24 diecast progress so far:

The car originally looked something like this: it was silver on the exterior, and all black inside (it is an internet picture as I forgot to take pics of it in the original stage):


First I repainted the body Capri Blue, and the wheels silver:




I like this color much better!

Here is a pic with the wheels (maybe I change them later on...)


I plan to paint the interior black and red with some silver accents.
