Re: engine modification

for cams you can check out milzymotorsports.com they got performance heads and cams, uhmmm persoanlly i think one of the msot power gains is deffinetly from the exhaust its like the most restrictive part on the grand am headers alone dyno for atleast 200hp to even a lil bit over considering thats awesome cause stock GT has 175HP if i remeber correctly but i think a headers all the way back would be best bet, you could port and polish your manifolds but honestly enough air goes through them while ther're stock unless you do a whole 3500 swap then youll sum sum nice gains and then you have your PCM which will tighten your shifts, remove speed limiter, and keep fans on after car is turned off which is great since grand ams get hot as hell in like .5 seconds then after that i would try working on the came and heads and whatnot.

Re: engine modification

Welcome to AF automan90067.

Its not cheap building the 3.4L.
As Jmoney said MMS has alot of stuff for these engines.

I have the top end modified a little, my intakes PP, heads PP, very aggressive cam + headers & high flo cat.
I saved $1000's by doing the heads and the upper intake myself.
I would say check out my cardomain but I dont think its up to date ......

I've seen on another site they have a 3500 top end swap kit I've not seen any #'s on that so I realy cant say a whole lot.... pricey!
