performance chips???

I am looking for a performance chip for my 1995 mustang gt. And I was wondering what some of the best brands of performance chips were.

I am mainly looking for one that will increase my hp and torque the most

Thanx

Custom chips are worth the money, the others are mainly crap. The Best is www.fordchip.com but they are busy fellas, they are actual FORD engineers. www.jmschip.com. is another very good one.

I just bought a tweecer, so if I do any more up grades I can get my laptop out and make adjustments. There are four different programs you can switch to, and a 5th setting si back to stock. www.tweecer.com

I'M WITH MY MAN'S POST

YOU CAN'T BEAT A CUSTOM CHIP------SUPERCHIPS STANDARD CHIP IS BULL SHIT AS FAR AS ITS CLAIMS------I HAVE A CUSTOM CHIP FOR MY 01 COBRA----AND THE NUMBERS AREN'T EQUIVALENT TO THE GAINS-----I HAVE TO SAY THOUGH-----I UPPED THE TIMING TO 18 DEGREES ON MY 01------AND NOTICED A 12HP & 19TQUE JUMP------FROM THE RESULTS OF MY CURRENT TIMING SETTINGS-----BUT OF COURSE------I HAD TO KEEP PUMPING AT LEAST 100OCTANE---TO AVOID DETONATION.
DO IT CUSTOM!

Like SklineUSA said, JMS chips are pretty good. First you should get everyting done to your car and wants your finished go and get a dyno tune then contact JMS with your info.

Good Luck

It all depends on your modifications. A chip in a basically stock mustang won't do much that advancing the timing and adding better gas won't do, and the money should be spent elsewhere. If you have moderate to heavy mods, then you will need a good custom chip burned. I too am a fan of Tweecer, seems to be the "poor mans tuner."

Cobra Chip?

Do they make chips for the new 2003 Mustang Cobra? If so, how many horses can I expect to get out of the stock 390?

Steve.

here is a link----http://www.rpmoutlet.com/03cobra.htm
here is a better link : http://www.mustangweekly.com/2002/ju...np7-15-3rd.asp
this second sight has the best pulley for the 03 Eaton blower-----look the company up on the net----go with these guys-----If you have a mustang tuner in your area----go with a custom chip by SuperChips-----$350, but you'll get a more aggressive tune with a custom----the Diablo chips----well-----may be cheaper-----but the programs are a notch below-----your big win here--is with the 6pound pulley----only $175----and it will get you to 15psi--on the supercharger-----chip + pulley-------over 500rwhp------over 500rwt----fricken amazing

Rob,

Thanks! Man, it seems crazy to get an additional 100 HP from a pulley and a chip! How does all this effect the factory warranty? Man, 500 HP from a stock car, whoa!

Steve.
