removing door handles

i have a problem removing my door handles it hass a metal plate right behind the key hole and the back doors ( i have a civic sedan) are hard to reach to take off the nuts. any ideas on how to remove them. im gonna shave them off:confused :shocked:

I don't know if you go to the track, but if you do they won't let you race
and illegal to shave your door, But hey if you want go ahead to tell you the truth i don't know how to take it off my self, but a garage place does.....
