Automatic???

I would love one of these, but heard they only come in Automatic's in the States. I'm a manual type of girl... has anyone heard anything about them coming out in a manual here? Love the style, one of my favorite SUV's:shocked:

3.0

We just got a X5 3.0L, and got an opt. Auto; so there must be a standard manual. Also, in the last Hire movie URL=http://www.bmwfilms.com]here[/url], there's a manual X5.

RE: Aiutomatic???

Yes, the 3.0 does come standard with a 5 speed manual tranny. It is fun with the manual. They are available in the US.

Pricing

The 3.0 starts out at 39,545. The 4.4 starts at 50,045. The 4.6is starts out at 66,845. Now of course you add in all your options and you start looking at around 46,000 for the 3.0 up to about 70,000 for the 4.6is.
The prices on some of the certified pre-owned are not looking too bad. You would just have to go to your local BMW dealer and look or go to www.bmwusa.com and they have pricing there.
Hope this helps.

X5 (3.0i) in a 'stick'

:smoker2: Greetings from New England!

I bought my X5 (3.0i) with a 'stick' (5-speed), bu t had to special order it since everyone is stocking them with the automatic transmission.

FYI -- you can only a standard in the 3.0 engine.

Love the performance I get out of the engine -- would not have "her" any other way.
