1999 grand am multi code problem
my 99 grand am pulls a maf code and a egr code and i think the problems are related and dont want to drop a 200 dollar maf sensor in and find out its wrong.i as woundering if any one has run into this problem or has an idea as to what it might be.the car searches for idle in park and i field tested the maf sensor by tapping it with a srew driver which is not an exact science.any help?

Welcome to AF.
Post the exact codes, then we can see whats wrong. If you need some help "testing" try the Tips and Maintenance sub forum. Hiting the MAF isnt good either.  btw-the IAC controls idle.
