Can someone recommend a good Prius mechanic in Los angeles?

Hi, I am looking for a good Prius mechanic in Los Angeles. I have a 2001 Prius which i got in August of last year. It has been great so far. I am driving it cross country to Florida and I need to get it checked out and tuned up before I leave. I am aware of Toyota dealerships but I am wondering if anybody here has an independent mechanic who is reliable? Toyota dealerships are a bit pricey and I'm on a budget because of the move.
