91 Tercel Electrical
Hello, I have a problem with my electrical system. I have lost the ability to use my dash clock, radio and cigarette lighter. I checked the fuse and it was blown, i changed the fuse and as soon as I turned the ignition back on that one blew as well. A friend told me the lighter may be causing the problem and to take the element out. I did that, the fuse blew again. Someone else recommended the main fuse but my original helper said that wasn't the problem if only one fuse was blown. I'm not sure what to do now. Any suggestions?
btw, I have working tail lights. Thanks |

Re: 91 Tercel Electrical
You are going to need a wiring diagram and a test light or meter. Start with the connectors to the fuse and work your way towards each component. Unplug parts of the circuit until you can narrow down the problem area.
