More goodies today and a project is re-born!

I ordered these from a site i discovered a couple of weeks back - Hobby World So far i'm impressed with their service, just as good as HLJ and Hobby Search.

This is my other order from HLJ - These two fujimi sets are 18"s and both look good out of the box. The 300zx means i'm able to ressurect an earlier bodykit project, I like the fact Tamiya include 2 bodies - I think I will do one fully open!

Love this caption

This is the project - bit of a mismatch as there aren't any really good body kits for the Z31. The front is based on the TRD 2000gt, the rear and sides are based on real Z31 parts - i forget by whom! I was never happy with the sides so left it until i could redo them - don't try to change my mind coz i already stripped one side. I'm now going to do them similar to a really cool Renault 5 body kit which should suit the Z well.

BTW what do u think of the wing i carved? - Overkill????

Chris,
That wing looks like you are going for an RS Cosworth kind of look, so let me ask, do you like the Escort? Either way, I think the wing looks fine from here.....
BTW, you know where I can get some of those Toyota Corolla Rally wheels you were talking about without having to part-out a Toyota WRC kit?

Ray

To me, that wing doesn't suit the rest of the car. I see more of an overhanging rear spoiler off of the back of the trunk lid as opposed to a raised wing.

Other than that, it looks superb. Your work never ceases to amaze me.

Yeah it did! I'm not complaining though, i got hold of some wheels that were not in stock at HLJ or Hobby Search and still paid a good price for them.

There maybe someone on here kind enough to donate or trade Ray or try the RCMG group on Yahoo, there maybe someone on there that made the kit with alternative decal set that required different rims.

If i could get hold of one i could have made some resin copies for us both to use!

Looks sweet, except i dont really like the wing too much... my friend has 2 of those cars one turbo and one not, and i think that wings on them look better when they are not above the rear window, but below... other than that it looks great

It was sent on the 9th Oct. The order was held for a while coz a couple of wheel sets were o-o-s, i knew they wouldn't be replenishished soon so got them to cancel those and send the rest.
