'90 ciera strange noise right front wheel

hi guys,

i'm driving a 1990 cutlass ciera and when I accelerate, brake and just cruise I here a sort of scraping noise from the right front wheel.

I jacked the car up en turned the wheel, it still made the same noise. I assume it is not the cv joint because when turning it is not making any additional noise, but I am pretty sure it is the wheel bearing.

Has anyone experiance with replacing the wheel bearing? And is it very harmful to my car if I keep driving?

Welcome to AF.

Its all one assembly hub and bearing unit.
Check this link more helpfull info

And yes it could cause you to have an accident if it were to lock up the hub

hope that helps
