Looking at jags many custom performance questions
First let me say its very hard to research this vehicle. Im thinking of buying a XJ8 project car anything from 1999-2004. Is there anything ford about the engine and management system? Is the ECU tunable so that if i supercharged it i can change the load, fuel and timing tables? Does the 4.0 have a Ford bell housing flange? My thoughts are forced induction and 6-speed manual trans in a cheap luxury car. I don't want an XJR but want to basically create one my way. Im a self taught fabricator and vehicle rebuilder that has done many complicated motor swaps and also a electronics engineer background.
Thanks Brian |
