Ok justs swapped an h22a into my 94 prelude si and am using the old engines ecu from the h23a1. a p-14. my engine runs on a p13 but it is being replaced as to damage during shipment. Now my problem is that whenever i am at highway speeds going anything 73MPH (3800rpm) and higher, my CEL lights up throwing a code 43 or fuel delivery system or something like that. This only happens when i am holding the gas steady at the above mentioned speeds or when i use cruise at speed. it takes anywhere from 3 minutes to 50 minutes for the CEL to come on. I experience NO preformance loss, No weird noises. Nothing. i restart car and its off until i go those speeds again. If i set the speed at 70 mph, its fine no CEL. i can accelerate clear into the 100's and hold speed throughout the rpms no prob just not for too long or CEl lights up. Any ideas?
I ran a bottle of fuel system cleaner through the car as well as reset the ecu. Helped for a day, no problems but once again, NO LUCK.
Could this be from the p-14 being used as opposed to the p-13 which i am waiting on. The ecu's being set at 2.3L and 2.2? Any help is appreciated.
