i have a 1990 honda accord lx, with a rebuilt 2.2l honda engine, and the valve cover looks horrible, so i want to paint it, what kind of paint do i need to use?, and everything to make it look better?

Re: painting a valve cover
I'd use high-temp engine enamel or epoxy paint, clean that cover with hot water and soap, then dry it and clean it with laquer thinner (will get any oil residue or other insoluable residues off), then again with hot water and soap, rinse real good, blow dry with air, shoot several light coats, let it set up a bit, then dry it in the oven at 200F for a couple of hours (when the wife/girlfriend/mom's not home..
)
