Re: Steering wheel and racing seat

Are these "racing" seats even comfortable? I mean, the way theyre shaped, I'd have my lower back and ass hurting forever. Ever used 'em, killa?

Re: Steering wheel and racing seat

I have a buddy that had some racing seats in his *cough* Alero *cough* and they actually weren't that bad. Took some getting used to, but I didn't mind them at all.

Re: Steering wheel and racing seat

Non-reclinable racing seats will destroy your back within 5 hours of driving Racing seats aren't too bad, and depending where you buy from, you could get a combination of performance and comfort. I like recaro. They're decent for comfort, but if you use good racing harnesses, then they will definitely do the job of holding on to you. If you want comfort, performance, and a good price, then I'd take a Corbeau seat. A lot of people say they're really comfy.

So you got racing seats already, Killa? What did you go with?

Screw that, just get a new cheap one from somewhere that is grey leather and dye it black like I did. My seats look like brand new OEM black leather seats. I think thats my favoritest part of the car.

The guy already gave me a down payment, I told him I sell the car to him when I found my car ( I want a grand prix gt ). But I could not find it any where around here and most of it is over price, few week ago there a new guy with a 2g gst 6bolt 400hp, we start talking and that when my dsmer's coming back . So I desice to keep the car and following my dream. But I still want a 4 door car for my family, still keep this talon for weekent

Re: Steering wheel and racing seat

You could just reupholster them and add some extra cushion. Maybe try finding a beat up set of Recaro's/Sparco's and take some sewing lessons, lol.
