I wanna SuperCharge a 2000GT

How hard would it be to supercharge a 2000 GrandPrix GT? I got a supercharger from a buddy of mine. What would I need to put a supercharger on my GT? I got the supercharger from a 2000 GrandPrix GTP. Also this Turbonator....does it work as good as they say itll work? Is it better then a supercharger or Turbo?
Also if i deside not to put the supercharger on, can a Twin Turbo kit be put on a Grandprix?
Thanks

This is a quote from clubgp

Quote:
Q. Can I put a supercharger from a GTP on my GT?

A. Simply put, No. The GTP engine is lower compression than that of the GT and contains a few other “tweaks” to run the supercharger effectively and reliably. This includes a different throttle body, fuel rails, PCM (computer), transmission, etc.

Re: I wanna SuperCharge a 2000GT

Now here's a turbo kit http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.m...ct_Code=WB3039
This kit comes from PFYC. One, take note of the price. Two, note it's beening run thru a 3.8 with a supercharger. As BIG-L is trying so hard to make clear. SAVE your money. A supercharger or turbo on your car would not only cost you a ton of money. But you would have to change or rebuild everything on your car. It's a good thought that you can bolt a superchatger to the top of your motor and start it up. Cost is way too high.

actually the turbo kit for the grand prix was first tested and run on GT's, and later on they made an adaptor for the GTP. The GT gets numbers of over 300 torque and 280 hp to the wheels. The company says they can guarantee everything except your trans, which will probably explode with the force of a hand grenade when you use the turbo on it. If i had the money for the turbo AND a heavy duty trans, id go for it.

Fastgpgt, this thread is so old (going on 3 years now), one forum member involved is now deceased. Please only respond to threads that are current. Resurrecting old threads like this clutter up the forum and give the moderators fits. Thanks.
