It is possible to have a honda street car in the 11's maybe not 10's but defionitely 11's. It is going to cost a nice sum of money though to run it in street legal trim.

Actually there is a guy here in Fayetteville, NC that has a 10 sec Civic, "All Motor" and street legal.. I don't know how he did it but he did, I guess it some secret or something.. Sounds fishy, but I've seen him race and they inspect him, so he must be legit.

All motor? Totally gutter - fiberglass everything - and built to holy hell.
To make it easier? A good turbo kit w/ like 20 pounds of boost should do it. Traction is gonna be a MOTHER on streetable tires.

In a 99 si? Good luck... drop about 500lbs and figure out how to get 300-350hp and youll be all set.

Well street legal depends on where you live here in the middle of nowhere (where I live) we still have no emissions, no inspections, ect..... so basically we can get away with anything we want
so anyway here I would go with first dumping the current car you have and getting somthing that was ment to go fast if you truly want 10 sec. I would go for an 84 crx probibly the lightest honda made for sale here is the states then I'd drop an h22a. All the usual mods, in it add a turbo (18 to 20 lbs of boost) then mabie 2 stages of NOS 100 first shot then a 200 2nd stage, hope to hell you can keep traction and that your pistons don't melt to your cilinder walls and you should be clearly into the 10's IF all that works out if not you've just scrapped about 15000 in mods to me its not worth it but thats just me hey I havea 91 crx b18c5 and a 75 hp shot of NOS and I still smoke most of the Muscle cars around here and I get 30mpg like to see a big block chevy do that hehehe:greenchai have fun |

it would be very difficult to consistently run your si and get 11's all day and be streetable. especially if its jsut all motor.

with a honda civic..youll prolly have to go for something much smaller...like a hatch, and put something with more power and torque than most other honda 4cyls like an h22. streetable, but only good for a straight line and a dry day
